Hatsune Miku Miku Dance Mixer Vocaloid

Since Miku Hatsune will be singing our theme song, people are wondering who is Miku Hatsune? Hatsune Miku (last name followed by first name Japan style, 初音ミク) is a singing synthesizer application and its female character, developed by Crypton Future Media. It uses Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 synthesizing technology. Many Japanese have composed songs using Vocaloid and the artificial singer with some songs even selling better than those sung by real singers.

What does a Vocaloid Hatsune Miku and Gundam Seed Destiny fan do? First, use the Vocaloid software to synthesize Meer Campell's Quiet Night song with Hatsune Miku's voice:

Next, when the voice recording is done, it's time to use the Dance Mixer software to lip sync with a 3D model of Hatsune Miku:

Okay! Now for the fun part. Use the Dance Mixer software to actually make the 3D model of Hatsune Miku dance! Woohoo! Miku is dancing and singing to the Quiet Night C.E.73 song:

Lights! Camera! Action! After all that hard work lip syncing and animating using the Miku Miku Dance software, it's time to put in the background and move the camera around for effect:

Finally, time for the limelight! Forget the paddy field! It's now the concert stage with adoring fans cheering in the background! This one uses Miku Hatsune's voice in the Vocaloid software to synthesize Meer Campbell's voice. Yeah! All in a day's work for your hardworking otaku! And guess what? It's all for free too. Thank you very much! ^_^

DragoonHP, Vocaloid is not

DragoonHP, Vocaloid is not free unfortunately but it is relatively cheap like RPG Maker because it is consumer oriented software. Using it is not easy though and requires considerable amount of time. Yossy from http://www.Studio-Misty.com did the hard work of composing the theme song and using Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku to sing it for our Alpha Kimori game! ^_^
