Why does Alpha Kimori not start?
One of the issues is with some of our partners' wrapper software (if you did not purchase the game directly from us). Another is a false positive detection by a few virus scanners so try deactivating your virus scanner. If that does not work, please try these solutions:
- Right-click on the AlphaKimori1.exe file and click on click on Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab, and underneath where it says Compatibility Mode left-click on the checkbox, and make sure it's set to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or similiar.
- Right-click on the AlphaKimori1.exe file and click on Run as Administrator.
If your operating system is Vista or newer, you may have DEP enabled. DEP will cause your game not to run. To turn off DEP, complete these steps:
1. Click Start > Control Panel > System
2. Click the Advanced tab
3. In the Performance region select Settings
4. Click the Data Execute tab
5. Mark "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select"
6. Click Add.
7. Browse and select the EXE for your game.
For example: C:\Program Files\AlphaKimori1\AlphaKimori1.exe
8. Click Open > Apply > OK
9. Restart your computer.

Why is it that Alpha Kimori RGSS Player has stopped working?
Unfortunately there's no simple one answer solution. This seems to be a mystery for many games with different solutions for the similar problem. There has been no conclusive answer as can be seen from this thread:

If you are using an older version of Windows Vista, the following solutions might work:
Disable User Accounts:
1) Go to Control Panel
2) Click on user accounts
3) Click disable.
Why you should do this: This saves allot of time when your trying to open an application that has that "windows shield" in front of it. It also makes it so that you open everything as an administrator.
Update Vista:
1) Go to control panel.
2) Click on vista updates
3) Select the updates you want and click ok.
Why you should do this: Microsoft is constantly adding compatibility updates.
Disable Vista fire wall:
1) Go to Control Panel
2) Click on fire wall
3) Click on disable.
Why you should do it: Vista's fire wall is extremely aggressive. While it doesn't do any thing useful (Since there are almost no compatible viruses with vista) it really kills your compatibility and speed of your pc. If your afraid of viruses install Avast (Free software.)
Run XP application in compatibility mode:
1) Right click on the application.
2) Click on properties.
3) Click on compatibility
4) Select XP service pack two.
5) Click ok
Why you should do it: It's vista's built in compatibility generator.
